Evergreen School District (ESD) Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that Dr. Antoine Hawkins has been selected as the new Superintendent of Schools. The Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve Dr. Hawkins's appointment at the June 9, 2022, regular board meeting. Dr. Hawkins is scheduled to begin his position on July 1, 2022.
The 2022-2023 calendar has been updated. There are changes that affect two dates: Friday, January 13, and Friday, April 7, 2023. Please read article for details.

Parents, please share your student's at-home COVID-19 test results with your local health department:
- Scan a QR code with your phone, or
- Visit California Schools At-Home Testing website
Attendance Matters
How many absences are too many? Chronic absence is defined as 18 days a year—or just 2 days a month. Call your student's school office if you have questions about your student's attendance.
A child’s success in school is best assured when the school and the home collaborate their efforts. Parent involvement in a child’s school gives the message to students that education is an important community effort. Here are just a few ways that you can get involved at LeyVa.
Come and enjoy a cup of coffee while you chat with our school leaders and other parents. Meetings are every Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Zoom meeting links are emailed to parents.
