ESD Wellness Spotlight
National School Counseling Week 2023 is celebrated from Feb. 6-10 to focus public attention on the unique contribution of school counselors within U.S. school systems. School counselors collaborate with school staff, parents and the community to create a safe, respectful learning environment where young adolescents can maximize personal and academic achievement.
Attendance Matters
How many absences are too many? Chronic absence is defined as 18 days a year—or just 2 days a month. Call your student's school office if you have questions about your student's attendance.
A child’s success in school is best assured when the school and the home collaborate their efforts. Parent involvement in a child’s school gives the message to students that education is an important community effort. Here are just a few ways that you can get involved at LeyVa.
Come and enjoy a cup of coffee while you chat with our school leaders and other parents. Meetings are every Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. Zoom meeting links are emailed to parents.
