Welcome! All students must first be enrolled in Evergreen School District (ESD). If you are already enrolled in ESD and live in the LeyVa attendance area, you are automatically registered to Bulldog Pathways. If you would like to enroll in Bulldog Tech, please review the Admission page.

I would like to enroll my child in ESD. How do I get started?

New Student Registration (Grades 7-8)

Please visit the Evergreen School District Enrollment and Registration page for complete and up-to-date information on enrollment steps, timelines, required documents, and program options for families.

Online registration is required for students who are new to Evergreen School District.

Students who are currently enrolled in an ESD school do not need to register again, including students who are transitioning from elementary to middle school.

What are the immunization requirements?

7th Grade Required Immunizations

California state law requires all students entering 7th grade to meet specific immunization requirements before starting school. Please see Required Immunizations for more detailed information.

Required Vaccines

Tdap (Pertussis/Whooping Cough) Booster
Pertussis is a highly contagious respiratory illness. Protection from early childhood immunizations can wear off over time, which is why the Tdap booster is required for older students.
Varicella (Chickenpox)
State immunization regulations require a total of two doses of the varicella (chickenpox) vaccine for advancement into 7th grade. This requirement went into effect in July 2019.

What families need to know:

The Tdap vaccine must be given on or after the student's 7th grade birthday
Proof of vaccination is required before the first day of school
Parents/guardians must submit documentation of their child's vaccination record to the school front office
Students will not be permitted to start school without valid proof of the required immunization
