Bulldog Tech Schedule

Bulldog Tech students follow Evergreen School District's academic calendar and the same school day hours and lunch period as LeyVa Middle School. School begins at 8:00 a.m., lunch is at 12:02 p.m., and dismissal is at 2:17 p.m.

While the school day aligns with LeyVa's schedule, Bulldog Tech organizes instructional time differently. All of Bulldog Tech's core classes and integrated electives are taught in three large instructional blocks, each lasting 74 minutes. This block structure provides students with more time for in-depth learning, collaboration, and project-based work.

Students will have a traditional period 5 and 6, during which they will take Physical Education and a special class, called Connections. In Connections, students develop important life skills that are not usually taught in a traditional classroom. They may participate in community service, work with local partners, take workshops on a variety of topics, explore new electives, or even design their own projects. Connections helps students apply what they learn in class to real-world experiences.

Bulldog Tech students are fully included in the broader LeyVa Middle School community. All students are encouraged to participate in LeyVa's athletic programs and are welcome to try out for sports teams.
