Online Registration
Registration for Track & Field will be available online March 21 - 28, 2022.
Tryouts
Tryouts for Track & Field will begin March 28, 2022. Please listen and look for announcements for official dates as set by the coaches. Tryouts will begin at 2:30 p.m. on the blacktop outside the locker rooms. You must have registered online and have a signed parent permission slip and concussion information slip completed during your online registration to attend this tryout. These forms can be found online on the Athletics Overview page. Please contact the coaches for more information.
Practice and Meets
Regular practices are daily Monday - Thursday 2:30 p.m. - 4 p.m. Students need to be picked no later than 4:15 p.m.
All meets begin at 3:30 p.m.

Evergreen School District COVID-19 Safety Guidelines
Middle School Sports
Beginning March 28, 2022, attendance by parents/caregivers is allowed at indoor and outdoor youth recreation under the following conditions:

For indoor events, mask wearing is required at all times for ages 2 and up.

For outdoor events, mask wearing is optional.

Event capacity and guest limits will be determined by site depending on physical space and event type.

Exclude anyone with COVID-19 symptoms including fever over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

The event must be held after school hours.

Attendance is voluntary.
Masks
Following the CDPH and the Eastside Athletic League guidance, face masks guidance is as follows:

Masks are required indoors at all times for teachers, referees, officials, coaches, and other support staff.

Masks are required indoors for all spectators and observers.

Masks are required indoors at all times when participants are not actively practicing, conditioning, competing, or performing. Masks are also required indoors while on the sidelines, in team meetings, and within locker rooms and weight rooms

If masks are not worn due to heavy exertion (such as wrestling), individuals will undergo screening testing at least once weekly. An FDA-approved antigen test, PCR test, or pooled PCR test is acceptable for evaluation of an individual's COVID-19 status.

For outdoor sports such as soccer, track and field, or cross country, mask wearing is optional while outdoors. Within indoor locker rooms and weight rooms, masks are mandatory.
These guidelines will be adjusted based on CDPH updates.
