Soccer Boys and Girls

Any student interested in trying out for soccer must attend the student information meeting in the gym in January to learn about tryouts, expectations, and the upcoming season.

Registration opens after the student information meeting in January.  

This is a cut sport. You will be trying out for a spot on a team and are not guaranteed a spot on the team.  

Tryouts for Girls Soccer will take place over three days and  begin at 2:45 p.m. on the soccer field. 

You must have registered online and have a signed parent permission slip and concussion information slip completed during your online registration to attend this tryout. These forms can be found online on the Athletics Overview page. 

• Tryout Location: LeyVa Bulldogs soccer fields.
• Equipment: Come dressed in your PE clothes ready to tryout. Shin guards and soccer cleats recommended but optional for tryouts.

Regular practices will be held Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on the Leyva soccer fields (weather permitting).

• You must maintain a 2.0+ GPA to compete in meets, with no  Fs, or N/U citizenship grades.
• Grades will be checked on the eligibility date listed at the top of this page.
