Participation Requirements

All student athletes must meet the following requirements to participate in our athletic program.

Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0. No Ds, Fs, or U citizenship grades. Students who do not meet this requirement will be removed from the team.
Have appropriate insurance coverage
Submit all required forms, which are all handled through the online registration portal:

✔️ Online Registration: Must be submitted prior to the tryout date.
✔️ Parent Permission Slip: Completed digitally during registration.
✔️ Concussion Information Slip: Signed digitally by both parent and student during registration.

Tryouts

Students must have a signed online parent permission slip and concussion information slip turned in to the coaches to attend tryouts. These forms can be found the Athletics Overview.

The Homework Center in Room 22 is open to athletes needing supervision after school.

All LeyVa students are eligible to try out for school athletic teams. Due to team size limitations, students must be selected to participate in flag football, basketball, soccer, and volleyball.
