About our Cross Country Team
Thank you for your interest in this great sport. Our coed team has a strong tradition of excellence. With a positive attitude, discipline, dedication, and hard work we can have an amazing season. We have a rich history of spirited and enthusiastic teams that display excellent athleticism and sportsmanship, and this season should be no different. Your coaches are looking forward to an exciting, fast-paced season and we hope you are too!
Student Information Meeting
Students wanting to learn more about this year's Cross Country season should attend our information meeting Friday, August 19 at the beginning of lunch in the gym.
Online Registration
Registration to tryout and play for the Cross Country team will take place online. Registration begins Friday, August 19 at 1 p.m. and closes Thursday, September 1 at 10 p.m.

Practice
Practice is held Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to about 3:30/4 p.m. Athletes must be picked up by 4 p.m.
Students must have all required signed parent permission forms submitted to the coaches before attending practice. These forms can be found on the Athletics Overview page. Please contact the coach for more information. Cross Country is a no cut sport and welcomes all students who meet the eligible requirements.
Meet Schedule
Athletes run in categories: 8th Grade Boys, 8th Grade Girls, 7th Grade Boys, 7th Grade Girls, C Boys, and C Girls. For each meet, start times and the order each group runs will be posted at school the day before or the day of a race.

Outdoors is lower risk. Indoor gatherings are at higher risk. If food is being served, consider eating outdoors, especially since masks can’t be worn while eating or drinking.

Staff, players, and attendees are encouraged to monitor their own health and stay home if sick or have symptoms.
These guidelines will be adjusted based on CDPH updates.
