About the 2024 - 2025 Season
Student Information Meeting:
- 7th grade team will meet on November 4 during lunch in P7.
- 8th grade team will meet on November 8 during at lunch in the weight room.
Registration Begins: Monday November 4, 2024
Registration Closes: Last week of November
Season Starts: Tuesday November 12, 2024
Eligibility Deadline: December 6, 2024
Season Ends: January 30, 2025

All LeyVa students are eligible to try out for our teams. Due to team size limitations, students must be selected to the basketball, soccer, and volleyball teams. Cross country, wrestling, and track and field are no cut sports and welcome all eligible students.

Tryouts
Tryouts for the 7th and 8th grade Boy's Basketball Teams begin on Monday, November 12. Students must have a signed online parent permission slip and concussion information slip turned in to the coaches to attend this tryout. These forms can be found online on the Athletics Overview page or when you register. Please contact the coaches for more information.
Practice
Regular practice days and times for both teams will be determined when try outs begin.
Games
On Game Days
7th grade plays first. 8th grade plays second.
Basketball Spectator Admission Fee*
- Regular season home game prices: $3 for adults, $2 for students, free for 5 years old and under.
- Play-off prices: $5 for adults, $3 for students, free for 5 years old and under.

Donate to Bulldog Sports
LeyVa Middle School does not charge a participation fee to play. We rely on the fundraising efforts of our students and staff to pay for our after school sports program. As a result, we ask all of our student athletes make a $25 donation to the athletic program. To donate please download, print, and submit this donation form:
We encourage all students to participate in our sports program. It is a great way to make new friends and to create lifelong memories of your middle school experience. No student will be denied participation due to financial considerations. Please ask your PE teacher or a team coach for more information.
